RON FORD CPA, CMA is a long time resident of Orleans. Ron took up painting in 2012 as a retirement hobby after spending his working years in the fields of auditing, accounting and banking. Ron has taken several painting courses through the Ottawa School of Art at the Shenkman Arts Centre in Orleans.

Thanks also to Lindy Nadarajah, my first painting instructor. She taught all the necessary techniques to get me started but more importantly made it enjoyable and really helped me find my passion.

The painting Titled "The Message", was entered into the May 2013 Arteast Budding Artists' Juried Exhibition held in Ottawa and won an award.

On June 25, 2014 I was featured in a Yahoo Sports article titled " Ontario artist puts Canadian curlers in the paint".
